The AMP2085P-LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 2 to 8 GHz. It delivers a CW/Pulsed output power of 500 W with a power gain of more than 57 dB (gain adjustment range of 20 dB). This Class A/AB amplifier uses an advanced design to provide linear performance with harmonics of -20 dBc and spurious levels of less than -60 dBc. It is a perfect replacement for aging TWT amplifiers. This SSPA is equipped with in-built protection circuits that offers input protection up to +10 dBm. It also includes monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power in dBm and Watts, VSWR, as well as voltage, current and temperature sensing for optimum reliability and ruggedness.
The AMP2085P-LC has local LCD and remote-control interfaces that include Ethernet RJ-45, RS422/485 and USB (optional GPIB interface). It is available in a 7U rack-mounted enclosure that measures 482 x 310 x 750 mm with N-type (female) input connectors and SC-type (female) output connectors. The amplifier is ideal for use in EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse and all communication applications, along with automotive pulse radar testing, EMC, MIL-STD 461 and all industry standards.
The SSPA requires an AC supply voltage from 180 - 264 V and consumes less than 6 kW of power.
