The AMP2108ADB-1 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Dual-band Solid-state Power Amplifier that operates from 4 to 10 GHz (Band A: 4.0 - 6.0 GHz, Band B: 6.0 - 10.0 GHz). It delivers a saturated output power of more than 100 W with over 50 dB of gain and 20 dB gain adjustment. This class A/AB linear amplifier is based on Exodus' High Power Advanced technology, that has been developed to replace aging TWT-based amplifier systems.
The AMP2108ADB-1 has built-in protection circuits with extensive digital monitoring & control functionalities for forward and reverse voltage/current, VSWR, gain & temperature. It has an LCD and GPIB control interface. The amplifier is available in a rack-mountable enclosure that measures 482 x 178 x 560 mm with N-type (female) connector. The system features in-built fan cooling with variable speeds of operation and can survive altitudes as high as 3000 m. It is suitable for EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse and all communication applications.
The SSPA requires an AC supply of 100-240 V (47-63 Hz) and consumes less than 800 W of power.
