The AMP2121-LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 80 to 1000 MHz. It delivers a CW/Pulsed output power of 2 kW with a gain of more than 63 dB. This Class A/AB amplifier uses an advanced design to provide linear performance with harmonics of -20 dBc and spurious levels below -60 dBc. It is equipped with in-built protection circuits that offers input protection up to +3 dBm. The amplifier also includes monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power in dBm and Watts, VSWR, as well as voltage, current and temperature sensing for optimum reliability and ruggedness.
The AMP2121-LC has remote-control interfaces that include Ethernet RJ-45, RS422/485 and USB (optional GPIB interface). It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 2 x R7U + R5U with N-type (female) and 7/16 (female) connectors. This SSPA implements the quiet-cool technology with the close circuit air-liquid cooling. It is ideal for use in EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse and all communication applications, along with all single channel modulation standards, EMC and automotive applications.
The SSPA requires an AC supply of 180-240 V and consumes less than 18 kW of power.
