The AMP2139BDB-2 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Dual-Band Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 1 MHz to 1000 MHz (Band A) and 1 to 3 GHz (Band B). It delivers a CW saturated output power of more than 100 W in Band A and 50 W in Band B with a power gain of 50 dB. This Class A/AB power amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of -20 dBc. It is equipped with built-in protection circuits and has extensive monitoring for forward/reflected power (in Watts & dBm), VSWR, voltage, current and temperature. This SSPA uses Exodus’ quiet-cool technology for closed circuit air-liquid cooling.
The AMP2139BDB-2 has an LCD control panel and can also be controlled remotely. It is available in a 4U rack-mount chassis that measures 7 x 19 x 22 inches with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for use in EMI/RFI, lab, CW, and all communication applications. The amplifier requires an AC supply from 100-240 V and consumes less than 1 kW of power.
