The AMP3010P from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state pulsed power amplifier that operates from 9 to 10 GHz. This amplifier has been developed for X-band pulse applications and delivers a peak output power of over 100 watts with a 20% duty cycle and a pulse width of 100 µsec. It provides a gain of more than 50 dB with 2 dB flatness across the frequency band. This class AB pulse GaN amplifier requires a 28 V supply and consumes up to 10 A of current. It is available in a module that measures 234 x 125 x 40 mm with SMA female connectors and has built-in protecting circuits with instantaneous wide bandwidth.
