The AMP3060 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a solid state power amplifier that operates from 32 to 40 GHz. This amplifier has been developed using a class AB linear GaAs FET hybrid design and delivers a gain of more than 40 dB with an output power above 10 watts and has a return loss of below 10 dB. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 9 V DC and consumes 37 A of current. It is available in a rugged module that measures 140 x 175 x 25 mm with 2.92 mm connectors. This SSPA can be used with all single channel modulation standards, has built-in protection circuits and an instantaneous wide bandwidth.
