The AMP3083 from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid State High Power Amplifier that operates from 29 to 31 GHz. This class AB linear amplifier provides 40 Watts of saturated power, a P1dB of 20 Watts and a power gain of over 43 dB. It includes both current and temperature sensing as well as built-in protection circuits for optimum reliability and ruggedness for all applications. The AMP3083 requires a DC supply voltage of 24 VDC and consumes up to 17 Amps of current. It is available in a module that measures 280 x 300 x 30 mm with a K-type female connector at the input and WR28 waveguide at the output.
