The AMP3085A from Exodus Advanced Communication is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 6 to 12 GHz. This class AB amplifier provides a saturated output power of 120 W with a gain of over 50. It is fabricated using an advanced solid-state linear hybrid design and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards. The amplifier has harmonics of -25 dBc and spurious levels under -60 dBc. It requires a DC supply of 32 V and consumes less than 23 A of current.
The amplifier has in-built protection circuits with current, temperature sensing, and shutdown functions. It is available in a module that measures 180 x 200 x 27 mm with SMA-female connectors at the input and N-Type (female) connectors at the output.
