The AMP4037DB-1LC from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier that operates from 18 to 40 GHz (Band A: 18 to 26.5 GHz; Band B: 26.5 to 40 GHz). It provides a saturated output power of more than 10 W with a gain of over 40 dB in both bands. The amplifier system is built using high-power advanced technology devices and has a class A/AB linear design. It has been designed for general EMC Testing Applications as well as Mil-Std 461(RS103) standards with comparable performance to TWT's.
The amplifier has built-in protection circuits and can also perform extensive monitoring of forward/reflected power (dBm/W), VSWR as well as sense voltage, current, temperature fluctuations. It has harmonics of -20 dBc and spurious levels under -60 dBc.
The AMP4037DB-1LC has an LCD display, RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/48 & USB optional GPIB interfaces. It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 430 x 222 x 560 mm with 2.92 mm – Female connectors at the input and WRD180 waveguide interface at the output. The amplifier has built-in quiet-cooling technology and can operate at ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 ºC. It is ideal for EMI/RFI, lab, CW/Pulse, and all communication applications.
The amplifier requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V and consumes less than 500 W of power.
