The AMP4072A from Exodus Advanced Communications is a Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) that operates from 26.5 to 40 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 10 W with gain of above 40 dB. The amplifier is based on advanced device technology design and is suitable for all single channel modulation standards. It has excellent gain flatness, optional monitoring parameters for forward/reflected power, voltage, current and temperature sensing for superb reliability and ruggedness. The amplifier has spurious levels of less than -60 dBc and harmonics of better than -20 dBc. The SSPA can handle an input power of up to +3 dBm, requires an AC supply from 100 to 240 V and consumes less than 360 W of power.
The AMP4072A has an LCD display and supports Ethernet RJ-45 TCP/IP, RS422/485 and USB for flexible remote interfacing. It is available as a rack-mounted system that measures 430 x 133 x 560 mm with 2.9 mm KF input connector and WR28 output interface. The amplifier is designed for EMI/RFI, lab, and general communication applications.
