The AMP5062P from Exodus Advanced Communications is a GaN Solid-State Pulse Power Amplifier that operates at 3.6 GHz. It delivers over 1500 W of peak output power with a gain of more than 62 dB. This ruggedized amplifier can be used for various applications and includes built-in Isolation for poor match conditions. Designed for 5 usec wide pulses with up to a 1% duty cycle for applications and radars with the harshest environments. The unit provides outstanding Pulse fidelity, excellent rise/fall times, all in a compact lightweight package for the highest reliability.

The amplifier requires a DC supply of 50 V and has a current consumption of 120 A. It is available as a rack-mount unit that measures 365 x 250 x 43 mm with SMA and N-type female connectors and is ideal for narrow S-Band high power pulse applications. Other frequency ranges & power levels are available on request.
