The Cerus 1 Series from Filtronic are power amplifiers that operate in the E-Band from 71 to 76 GHz (AA025) and 81 to 86 GHz (AA026). They are designed using GaAs MMICs that are performance-matched and efficiently combined in a waveguide to deliver maximum power. They deliver a saturated output power of more than 28 dBm with a small signal gain of 24 dB. These amplifiers support 256-QAM modulation and are available in 1-Way, 4-Way, and 8-Way configurations. They require a DC supply of -0.6/3.8 V. The amplifiers are available in modules with WR12 input/output interface.
The Cerus 1 has an integrated temperature sensor that provides users with accurate amplifier temperature data, and optional control circuitry facilitates functions including gain control, mute control, and alarms. They are ideal for airborne, military, commercial, and HAPS applications.
