The GRF2010 from Guerilla RF is a Broadband Gain Block that operates from 0.05 to 5 GHz. It provides a gain of 10.5 dB with a noise figure of 3.1 dB and has an output P1dB of 20.5 dBm. The amplifier uses a GaAs pHEMT process and exhibits outstanding broadband noise figure and linearity. It requires a supply voltage from 2.7 to 8 V and draws less than 100 mA of current. The GRF2010 is internally matched to 50 ohms at the input and output ports, needing only external DC blocks and a bias choke on the output. It is available in a surface-mount package and is suitable for use in applications requiring flat gain in linear driver amplifiers, small cells, cellular repeaters and IF amplifiers.
