The GRF2040 from Guerrilla RF is a Gain Block that operates from 50 to 5000 MHz. It provides a gain of 10.2 dB (in gain mode) with a noise figure of 3.1 dB and has an integrated bypass mode. This gain block requires a DC supply from 2.7 to 8 V and consumes less than 90 mA of current. It is internally matched to 50 ohms at the input and output ports, needing only external DC blocks and a bias choke on the output. The gain block is available in a DFN-6 package that measures 1.5 x 1.5 mm and provides exceptional gain flatness.
