The HHPAV-510 from HXI is a power amplifier that operates from 50 to 66 GHz. It delivers a gain of 34 dB with an output power of more than 14 dBm. The amplifier requires a supply voltage of 6 VDC and consumes up to 400 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 1.31 x 1.34 x 0.97 inches with WR-15 waveguide interfaces in an in-line configuration using the standard UG-385/U flange. The amplifier is ideal for point-to-point radios, radar transmitters, WiGig development and test equipment. It has a voltage regulator and bias sequencing circuitry allowing the use of a single bias to power the amplifier.
