The HL5877 from HYPERLABS is a Thermally-Compensated Limiting Amplifier that operates from 35 kHz to 24 GHz. It provides a small signal gain of more than 24 dB and exhibits excellent input sensitivity which allows the amplification of very small input signals while responding with a limited output amplitude range. This amplifier allows the user control of both output amplitude and eye pattern crossing point. It requires a dual DC supply of +7 V/-8 V, consumes 220 mA of current, and 2.75 W of power. The amplifier is available in a module that measures 47.24 x 42.16 x 10.2 mm with 2.92 mm (female) and 2.4 mm (female) connector options.
