The LNA6G18GPR from Lotus Communication System is a Low Noise Amplifier MMIC that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It provides a gain of up to 25 dB with a noise figure of 1.2 dB and has an output P1dB of 10 dBm. This LNA has a directivity of 33 dB which eliminates the need for an expensive isolator and a positive gain slope of 21 dB (@12 GHz) which eliminates the need for equalization. The RoHS-compliant amplifier requires a DC supply from 3 to 12 V and consumes less than 72 mA of current. It is available in a module that measures 0.938 x 0.938 x 0.49 inches with SMA (female) connectors and is ideal for test instrumentation, wideband A/D system, radar, VSAT, SDR, ham radio, and general-purpose wireless applications. This MMIC is available with EMI shielding and a waterproof option.
