The LNF-LNC0.3_14B from Low Noise Factory is a Cryogenic Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 0.3 to 14 GHz. It provides 37 dB of gain with a noise figure of 0.05 dB and has an average noise temperature of 3.6 K. This LNA uses LNF’s proprietary InP HEMT technology and must be operated in a vacuum environment when below the dewpoint. It requires a DC supply of 1.2 V and consumes less than 100 mA of current. The amplifier is available in a non-hermetic module that measures 19.87 x 19.60 x 7.80 mm with SMA-female connectors.
