The CMPA801B030S from MACOM is an X-band GaN MMIC Power Amplifier that operates from 7.9 to 11 GHz. This 2-Stage amplifier delivers saturated output power of up to 40.7 W and with 20 dB of large signal gain and 40% efficiency. It is available in a plastic overmold QFN package that measures 7x7 mm and requires a 28 V DC Supply. The amplifier is ideal for military and commercial pulsed radar systems.
