The MAPC-A1000 from MACOM is a Class D Power Amplifier that operates from 0.3 to 2.7 GHz. It provides a saturated output power of 25 W with a small signal gain of 13 dB and supports both CW and pulsed operation. This internally matched amplifier requires 50 V of power supply and is suitable for linear and saturated applications. It is available in a RoHS-compliant plastic, lead-free 7.0 x 6.5 mm DFN package and is ideally suited for a multitude of applications including military radio communications, digital cellular infrastructure, RF energy, avionics, test instrumentation and radar.
This Class D amplifier is fabricated on a GaN on Silicon Carbide HEMT process.
