The AKA-1400 from Marki Microwave is a Cascadable InGaP HBT MMIC Amplifier that operates from DC to 14 GHz. It provides a small signal gain of up to 17 dB, has a noise figure of 4 dB and a P1dB of 15 dBm. This low-cost amplifier requires a DC supply of 3.8 V and draws 50 mA of current. It is available as a bare die that measures 0.40 x 0.43 mm and is suitable for use in mobile test and measurement equipment, radar and satellite communications, 5G transceivers, and driver amplifier L-diode mixer applications.
