The AMM-8211 from Marki Microwave is a GaAs Driver Amplifier that operates from 22 to 57 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of +21 dBm with a small signal gain of up to 13 dB and provides a reverse isolation of 48 dB. This amplifier requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 175 mA of current. It is available in a UC5 connectorized module that measures 40.72 x 28.20 x 21.51 mm with 1.85 mm male/female connectors and built-in DC-blocking capacitors on the input and output.
This amplifier has been developed for driving Marki Microwave’s H or L diode mixers (from 22 to 57 GHz) and S diode mixers (from 25-50 GHz). It can also be used for mobile test and measurement equipment, radars, satellite communications and 5G transceiver applications.
