The MPA-50G-67G-5 from Maury Microwave is a Benchtop/Rack Mount Amplifier that operates from 50 to 67 GHz. It has been developed for Test & Measurement applications. This amplifier has been evaluated for Burn-in and aging tests that include prolonged storage under extreme temperature conditions, extended amplifier operation over the entire rated temperature range, and elongated usage at maximum power under CW and pulsed-CW conditions. After the burn-in and aging, each instrument amplifier is tested using a state-of-the-art vector-receiver measurement system.
This system can be used to independently measure power at the fundamental, harmonic, and intermodulation frequencies using single-tone and two-tone input signals, as well as true ACPR using wideband modulated signals.
The amplifier delivers a saturated power of 5 W with an adjustable small signal gain of more than 33 dB. This amplifier is based on GaN PA modules and provides high continuous power across the band. It has high linearity for wideband communications testing and integrated protection circuitry for safety.
The amplifier has a high-resolution display that shows the amplifier’s status. It is ideal for use in 4G/5G base station & handset transistor model extraction and validation, RADAR transistor model extraction and validation, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi & WLAN PA, and FEM design and design validation test (DVT) applications.
