The MPA-6G-18G-100 from Maury Microwave is a GaN Power Amplifier (PA) that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 100 W with a small signal gain of more than 52 dB. This power amplifier is manufactured using the state-of-the-art GaN process and has built-in protection capabilities to ensure high reliability during operation. It is burn-in and aging tested that include prolonged storage under extreme temperature conditions, extended amplifier operation over the entire rated temperature range, and elongated usage at maximum power under CW and pulsed-CW conditions.
This PA is also tested using a state-of-the-art vector-receiver measurement system, which uses single and two-tone signals to measure power at the fundamental, harmonic, and intermodulation frequencies. It is available in a benchtop enclosure that measures 483 x 588 x 192 mm with N-type (female) connectors and is ideal for test and measurement applications. This amplifier has a 3A001 export classification.
