The WVA-71863LNX+ from Mini-Circuits is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 71 to 86 GHz. It provides 39 dB of gain with a noise figure of less than 5 dB and has a saturated output power of 18.5 dBm. This amplifier incorporates several DC-protection features such as over-voltage, reverse voltage, and in-rush current protection to protect from damage in case of unexpected spikes in voltage during operation. It requires a DC supply from 10 to 15 V and consumes less than 220 mA of current. This LNA has internal DC-DC conversion circuitry which maintains constant efficiency over the full input voltage range and allows the amplifier to be protected from external mishandling or unexpected spikes in voltage.
