The NJG1187KG1 from New Japan Radio is a Low-Noise Amplifier that is designed for GNSS applications. It can be tuned for L1 (1.5 GHz) or L2/5/6 (1.1 to 1.2 GHz) bands by changing some external parts. The amplifier provides a small-signal gain of more than 30 dB with a noise figure of less than 0.95 dB and a P1dB of over 7 dBm. It requires a 3.3 V supply and is available in a compact ESON6-G1 package that measures 1.6 x 1.6 x 0.4 mm with integrated ESD protection. The amplifier is ideal for GNSS receiver applications, active antennas, dashboard cameras, navigation and GNSS modules.
This LNA is also available to place a filter between the two amplifier stages to realize high attenuation without degradation of noise figure.
