VU4GX01 Image

The NuPower Xtender VU4GX01 BDA from NuWaves is a bidirectional amplifier that operates from 225 MHz to 512 MHz providing a linear power of 4 Watts. It provides a P1dB of more than 10 Watts and a gain of 31 dB when transmitting. And when receiving provides a P1dB of 17 dBm and gain of 15 dB. This BDA is ideal for extending the communication range of half-duplex transceivers running high peak-to-average waveforms such as OFDM. It is capable of supporting an array of RF communications, telemetry, software defined radios and electronic warfare applications, including systems running on battery power. This BDA is available in a fully enclosed module that measures 2.34 x 2.34 x 0.7 inches with SMA female connectors. It features a chassis-less design, allowing the system integrator to easily incorporate the unit into the communications payload of small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or small platforms.
