The NPA2001-TB-501 from Nxbeam is a Power Amplifier MMIC that operates in the Ka-band from 26.5 to 29.5 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 35 W (~45.4 dBm) with a linear gain of 25 dB and an average PAE of 31%. This amplifier has been developed on a 0.2um GaN-on-SiC process, requires a DC supply from 20 to 28 V, and consumes less than 1.5 A of current. It is matched to 50 ohms at the input/output and has DC-blocking capacitors for easy system integration. The power amplifier is available as a bare die that measures 0.17 x 0.197 x 0.20 inches and is ideal for use in Ka-band satellite communications, 5G mm-wave (n257), and point-to-point/multipoint digital radios.
