The CMD173 is wideband GaAs MMIC distributed amplifier die which operates from DC to 20 GHz. The amplifier has a gain of greater than 15 dB, a P1dB of 18 dBm and noise figure of 2 dB at 10 GHz. It is internally matched to 50 ohms thereby eliminating the need for RF port matching. The CMD173 offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection. This amplifier is the ideal alternative to higher cost hybrid amplifiers.
