The CMD328K3 from Qorvo is a Broadband MMIC Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 6 to 18 GHz. It delivers a gain of 27 dB with a noise figure of less than 2.2 dB and P1dB of 12 dBm. The LNA is matched to 50-ohms thereby eliminating the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching. It requires a DC supply of 4 V and consumes 52 mA of current. This RoHS-compliant amplifier is available in a plastic surface-mount air cavity package that measures 3 x 3 mm. It is ideal for use in EW and communications systems like X-band radar, Ku-band radar, and SATCOM where small size and low power consumption are needed.
