The QPA3070 from Qorvo is an S-Band Power Amplifier that operates from 2.9 to 3.5 GHz. It provides more than 150 W of saturated output power with a gain of 28 dB and has a power-added efficiency (PAE) of up to 58%. The PA uses Qorvo’s ultra-reliable and highly efficient gallium nitride (GaN) on silicon carbide (GaN-on-SiC) process technology. It is available as a surface mount package that measures 7 x 7 x 0.85 mm and is suitable for electronic warfare and radar applications.
