The QPA3908 from Qorvo is a fully integrated Two-Stage Doherty Power Amplifier Module that operates from 3.7 to 3.98 GHz. It delivers 8 W of output power with 32 dB of gain. This GaN amplifier incorporates a driver and Doherty final stage delivering high power added efficiency for the entire module. It requires a DC supply of 48 V and consumes 106 mA of current (for final stage carrier). The module is available in a surface-mount package that measures 8 x 10 mm and is ideal for 5G massive MIMO, small cell, low power remote heads and general-purpose applications.
