The QPA8801 from Qorvo is an ultra-linear GaAs amplifier MMIC that provides over 11 dB of gain at 1218 MHz. Operating from 45 to 1218 MHz, this IC provides an output power of 27.5 dBm and is ideal for use in CATV distribution systems requiring high output power capability. This amplifier requires 12 volts of power supply and consumes less than 4.56 W of power.

The QPA8801 is available in a 40-pin 5 x 7 mm QFN package and is suitable for DOCSIS 3.1, Broadband CATV hybrid modules, Head End CMTS Equipment, and 75 Ω amplifiers applications.
