The QPA9119 from Qorvo is a high linearity driver amplifier that operates from 400 MHz to 4200 MHz. It provides a gain of 17 dB, an IP3 of 44 dBm and P1dB of 27.2 dBm. The amplifier requires a supply of 5 V and draws 130 mA of current. It is available in a 16-pin QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm. The QPA9119 integrates as on-chip DC over-voltage and RF over driver protection which protect the amplifier from electrical DC voltage surges and high input RF input power levels that may occur in a system. It is targeted for use in wireless infrastructure where high linearity, medium power, and high efficiency are required.
