The RFDA0047 from Qorvo is a dual channel digital controlled variable gain amplifier that operates from 400 MHz to 2700 MHz. It has high linearity over the entire gain control range of 31.5 dB (0.5 dB Step Size) with noise figure of less than 6.5 dB in its maximum gain state. In this module, the gains of two 6-bit digital step attenuators are programmed with a serial mode control interface (SPI). It is available in a small 7 x 7 mm leadless laminate MCM and is ideal for cellular, 3G Infrastructure, WiMAX and LTE applications.
