The TGA2214-CP from TriQuint is a wideband power amplifier that operates from 2 GHz to 18 GHz. It has an integrated power detector and has been designed using TriQuint’s TQGaN15 0.15um GaN on SiC process. The amplifier has a small signal gain of more than 22 dB, a PAE of more than 15 % and provides a saturated output power up to 4 W. It is available in 10-lead bolt-down package that measures 15 x 15 mm and is RoHS compliant. The TGA2214-CP is ideally suited to support, both in the commercial and the defense arenas, applications requiring either wideband or multi-band frequency performance.
