The TGA2958 from Qorvo is a GaN on SiC driver amplifier that operates from 13 GHz to 18 GHz. This amplifier provides more than 25 dB of small signal gain and 2 W of saturated output power with 25% of efficiency (PAE). It requires a supply of 20 V and draws 70 mA of current. The TGA2958 is fully matched to 50 Ohms with integrated DC blocking capacitors on both I/O ports and measures 1.25 x 2.14 x 0.10 mm. It is ideally suited for a variety of military and commercial radar and communications applications.
