The TGA2976-SM from Qorvo is a wideband cascode amplifier that operates from 0.1 to 3 GHz. It provides greater than 10 W of saturated output power with gain of 13 dB and a power-added efficiency of 38%. This amplifier requires a supply voltage of 40 Volts and consumes 360 mA of current. It is available in a low-cost, surface mount Air Cavity laminate package that measures 4 x 4 x 1.64 mm and is ideally suited to support both radar and communication applications for commercial and military markets.
