RFHIC HM0525-10A GaN Hybrid IC (HIC) is a wideband power amplifier designed for software-defined radio (SDR), two-way radios, radio transponder navigation systems, trunked radio system (TRS), wireless infrastructure, and general purpose amplification. Using an advanced high power density Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductor process, this high performance amplifier achieves PAE (power added efficiency) of 30% (typ.), and powers over a wide instantaneous bandwidth. HM0525-10A has matched input/output of 50&Omega and is packaged in a very small form factor 20.5 x 15 x 4.8 (mm) on AIN (aluminum nitride) board which provides excellent thermal dissipation. This amplifier operates in the 500 to 2500 MHz range, and has output power of 10W, or 40dBm (typ.).
