The RRK54596K0-780 from RFHIC is a Solid-State RF Transmitter that operates in the C-Band from 5.4 to 5.9 GHz. It delivers a pulsed output power of more than 6000 W (LFM signal) with 78 dB of gain and a VSWR of less than 2:1. This transmitter is designed using RFHIC’s state-of-the-art GaN-on-SiC HEMT technology that ensures excellent thermal stability and high breakdown voltage. It has spurious levels of -60 dBc and harmonics of -40 dBc. The transmitter can be used to upgrade existing Microwave Tube based Electronic Devices such as Klystron, Magnetron, Traveling Wave Tube, and Cross-Field Amplifier-based transmitters used in radar platforms. It is ideal for weather radar, defense radar, general radar, and high-power radar applications.
The RRK54596K0-780 is equipped with built-in protection and warning alarm indicators that provide information using Ethernet cables or LED and offers a forced-air cooling mechanism to maintain the system temperature. It is available in a rack-mount enclosure that measures 740 x 816 x 1075 mm with an SMA-female input connector and WR-187 waveguide output interface. This transmitter requires an AC supply of 373-457 V and is designed to withstand EMI effects as per MIL-STD-461E.
