The BBA130 from Rohde Schwarz are broadband amplifiers that operate from 80 MHz to 1.0 GHz, 0.69 GHz to 3.2 GHz and 2.5 GHz to 6 GHz. They have been designed to be used for product validation testing during RF component development, production and quality assurance. The output of these amplifiers can be optimally tuned to match your specific application i.e the operating class for the transistors can be adjusted between Class A and Class AB during operation. You can also choose between maximum output power or higher mismatch tolerance at the output. The amplifiers can be tune to have a maximum output power from 22 to 4200 Watts. A bias point in Class A yields very good linearity and good harmonic performance and is ideal for generating spectrally clean CW signals. A bias point in Class AB provides faithful reproduction of pulsed signals and improves the efficiency of the amplifier. The tolerance against mismatch at the output can also be changed to provide more power. They are available as benchtop or rack mount systems with N female, 7/16 DIN female or 1 5/ EIA female connectors.
