The SKY66391-12 from Skyworks is a High-Efficiency Power Amplifier that operates from 1.8 to 1.9 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 35 dBm with a small signal gain of more than 33 dB and has a power-added efficiency (PAE) of 34.5%. It has an ACLR of -31 dBc and is designed for use in active antenna arrays, 3GPP small cells and as a driver amplifier in micro, macro, and massive MIMO base stations. This amplifier requires a DC supply of 5 V, consumes 80 mA of current, and includes an integrated active biasing circuit to compensate for performance over temperature, voltage, and process variation. It is available in a 16-pin MCM package that measures 5.0 x 5.0 x 1.3 mm and is fully input/output matched.
