SKY77638-51 Image

The SKY77638-51 is a Multimode, Multiband (MMMB) Power Amplifier Module (PAM) for 3G/4G devices. It has five Low Band (LB) and four Mid Band (MB) outputs with excellent PAE. This amplifier has been developed to operate efficiently in CDMA, WCDMA, and LTE modes and is fully programmable through a Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI®). It consists of a WCDMA/LTE block for low and mid-bands, and a multi-function control (MFC) block along with a CMOS integrated circuit that uses standard MIPI controls to provide the internal MFC interface and operation. This PAM consists of an InGaP and Silicon die with passive components mounted on a multi-layer laminate substrate and the complete assembly is encapsulated in an SMT package that is a highly manufacturable, low-cost solution.

The SKY77638-51 is available in an MCM 42-pad package that measures 4.00 x 6.80 x 0.71 mm and is ideal for use in cellular IoT modules, handheld computers, mobile hotspots/CPE, wearable devices, and tracking and logistics applications. It has 50 ohms internally matched I/O ports which minimize the need for external components and provide extremely low leakage current with maximized handset standby time.
