The SKYA21051 from Skyworks Solutions is an Automotive Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 200 to 6000 MHz. It provides a gain of more than 14 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.5 dB and has an output P1dB of +8.9 dBm. This LNA has been designed to offer superior gain flatness and exceptional linearity in a miniaturized package. It meets the bHAST/THB qualification requirements ensuring enhanced ruggedness while offering an option for Level-3 PPAP capability. This amplifier requires a DC supply from 3 V to 5 V, consumes less than 100 mA of current, and also allows the users to externally adjust the supply current. It consists of an internal active bias circuitry to provide stable performance over temperature and process variation.
The SKYA21051 guarantees extended production life to support various automotive requirements and supports IMDS material declaration. It is available in a surface-mount package that measures 2 x 2 mm and is ideal for in-cabin cellular telematics repeater, Japan Intelligent Transport Systems (JITS) 700 MHz Rx LNA: ARIB STD-T109, FDD and TDD 2G/3G/4G LTE, LTE-A systems, low-noise broadband gain block, driver amplifiers, active antenna array, and MIMO applications.
