The 2000HDA-A16 from Stellant Systems is a Traveling-Wave Tube (TWT) Amplifier Set that operates in the Q band from 40 to 42 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of more than 37 W with a gain of up to 54 dB and an efficiency of up to 49.8%. This TWT has a helical RF circuit with a periodic, permanent magnet (PPM) for conduction cooling along with an electron gun with a dual-anode, isolated-focus-electrode design. This TWT amplifier has been qualified for use in space applications at Q-band. It enables gigabits-power, efficiency, and linearity for Q-band downlink applications.
