The BME1929-300 from Stellant Systems is a Solid-State Power Amplifier Module that operates from 1000 to 2000 MHz. It delivers an output power of 300 W and has an efficiency of 25%. The amplifier is manufactured using GaN technology and has an in-band harmonic distortion of less than -13 dBc with spurious signal levels of better than -60 dBc. It requires a DC supply voltage from 18 to 32 V and has in-built composite fault indication components for over-temperature and over-current conditions. This Class AB amplifier supports multi-tone, CW, AM, FM, and pulsed modulation formats.
The BME1929-300 is available in a benchtop or rack-mounted enclosure that measures 15.00 × 9.00 × 2.25 inches with SMA input connectors and TNC-female output connectors. It has an RS-422 SPI control interface and provides both a high-power density to footprint ratio as well as high efficiency over the entire bandwidth.
