The BME2969-50DL from Stellant Systems is a Power Amplifier Module for UAV data link applications from 2 to 6 GHz (2.2-2.5 & 4.4-5.85 GHz). This GaN based amplifier for the C & S Band provides an output power of 50 Watts (60 watts saturated) and can accept an input RF power of -6 dBm (20 dBm max). It requires a 28 V DC Voltage and consumes up to 250 watts of power. It is available in a module that measures 7.83” x 3.7” x 1.6” and weighs 2.0 lbs.

This model features a pre-flight safety low power Go/No-Go transmit mode for a final flight line confidence test as well as a battle short mode for mission critical stay on the air transmission. It has been developed to withstand and operate reliably in rugged and hostile environments. The amplifier is ideally suited for UAV applications transmitting video, telemetry or other ISR functions.
