The Model A10200 from Tabor Electronics is an Ultra-Wideband Power Amplifier that operates from 100 kHz to 20 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 30 dBm (~1 W) with a gain of 12.5 dB (100 MHz-3 GHz) and has a noise figure of 9 dB. It can handle an input power of up to 27 dBm, requires a DC supply of 20-27 V and consumes 450 mA of current.
The A10200 has been designed to extend the power range of arbitrary waveform generators and RF signal generators for applications requiring a higher output power to drive their DUT (Device Under Test). Combined with the A10200, the Lucid series generators from Tabor Electronics offer a solution for demanding applications requiring up to 20 GHz signals at up to +30dBm into 50 ohms loads, without compromising signal integrity.
The amplifier features reverse polarity, over-current, open-short load, over/under voltage protection and provides a reverse isolation of 50 dB. It is available in a module that measures 40 x 30 x 85 mm with 2.92 mm Type K connectors and is ideal for receiver testing, multi-tone testing, general electronics, and scientific applications.
