The TDLNA0840SEP from Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics is a Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) that operates from 0.3 to 4 GHz. It provides a gain of 29 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.5 dB. This unconditionally-stable LNA is developed on a 150 nm, enhancement mode, pHEMT process and is ideal for use in high-reliability applications where ultra-low power consumption, low noise figure, and small package footprint are critical. It is TID radiation tolerant to 100 krad (Si) and is qualified per Teledyne’s Space-enhanced plastic flow. This amplifier requires a DC supply from 0.85 to 3 V and consumes less than 25 mW of power.
The TDLNA0840SEP is available in a 16-pin QFN package that measures 3 x 3 mm, and the RF ports are DC-blocked with a nominal matching of 50 ohms. It is suitable for terrestrial military, avionics, and space environments and is suitable for use in phased antenna arrays for communication systems.
