The TDLNA2050SEP from Teledyne e2v Hirel is a Low Noise Amplifier that operates from 2 to 5 GHz. It is ideal for use in demanding high reliability, space, and radar applications where low noise figures, minimal power consumption, and a small package footprint are required. The LNA provides a gain of up to 22 dB with a noise figure of less than 1.5 dB and provides an output power of 36 dBm. It has a switching time of 300 ns (rise) and 350 ns (fall). The LNA requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 60 mA of current. It is developed on a 90 nm enhancement-mode pseudomorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor (pHEMT) process, is available in an 8-pin dual-flat no-lead (DFN) 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.75 mm plastic surface mount package, and is qualified per MIL-PRF-38534 Class K.
The amplifier is ideal for 4G/5G infrastructure radios, small cells and cellular repeaters, phased array radar, and SDARS applications. It can also be tuned for different frequency bands targeting LTE (small cells and infrastructure), radar, and any other applications requiring low noise, high gain, and linearity.
